TAKE IT DOWN Act Policy
Removing intimate images shared without consent · Last updated: November 7, 2026
Edge Him does not allow intimate photos or videos of anyone to be posted without that person's consent, including images that were faked or made with AI. If an intimate image of you is on Edge Him and you didn't agree to it being shared, you can ask us to remove it. This page explains how, and what we'll do. It's our notice under the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act.
Who can ask
The person shown in the image, or someone authorized to act for them (for example a parent, guardian or lawyer). You don't need an Edge Him account.
Send a request online
Fill in this form, or email us as described below. You'll get an email receipt with a reference number.
Or send a removal request by email
Email developers@edgehim.com with the subject line "TAKE IT DOWN removal request", and include:
- Your signature. Typing your full name at the end of the email counts.
- Where the image is, so we can find it: the member's username, a link to the profile or photo, or a description of the photo and where it appears.
- A short statement that you believe in good faith the image was shared without your consent, with any details that help us (for example, that you are the person shown).
- How to contact you: the email address you're writing from is enough.
Members can also use Report or block this member on a profile to flag a photo straight away; for a formal removal request, please also send the email above.
What we do
- We remove the image as soon as possible, and within 48 hours of receiving a valid request.
- We also make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies of it on Edge Him, and to stop it being uploaded again.
- We may disable the account that posted it, and we keep a record of the request.
- We reply to let you know it has been removed, or if we need more information to find it.
Other help
- If the image may be on other sites too, StopNCII.org is free and helps adults stop intimate images being shared on participating platforms.
- If the person shown was under 18 when the image was taken, use Take It Down from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and report it to us right away.
- If someone is threatening to share images of you, see our safety tips on what to do about sextortion.
- Sharing intimate images without consent is a crime. You can also report it to the police.
Please only send genuine requests
Knowingly sending a false removal request may break the law and our Terms of Service.
